Relational Parenting is an interactive discussion group that helps connect, encourage, and equip families who are fostering, have adopted, or are considering doing so, along with those providing kinship/guardianship care
Discussion topics may include attachment and bonding, the effects of trauma, neglect, and abuse, asking the right questions before fostering or adopting, managing challenging behaviors, making tough decisions, and when to seek help. For families needing it, this training will qualify for credit hours and certificates can be issued where needed. We welcome you to come prepared with questions on issues you are facing in your home.
Childcare is now available upon registration! If childcare is needed please register children by the Thursday prior to RP so that we can plan accordingly.
